About us.

At Brauer Family Dentistry our patients come first. Whether we have a long-standing relationship with you or you are new to our practice, we are here to help. You can expect a welcoming environment from the cozy fireplace and waterfall in the reception room to the treatment rooms that are outfitted with TV’s and the most current technology. You can also expect to see a familiar face each visit as every staff member has been part of our practice for a long time and truly enjoys getting to know each patient and family.

Meet the Doctor

Ted Brauer, DDS

Dr. Brauer graduated from Indiana University in 1999 with a B.S. in Biology and earned his Dental degree from Indiana, as well. He lived in multiple states as a kid and was excited to know that Indianapolis was going to remain his home. After serving patients in the Indianapolis area for 2 years Dr. Brauer’s dream of owning his own private practice became a reality when he partnered with Dr. Harold Smith. In 2006, he helped design and build the beautiful office he currently practices in.

Dr. Brauer has created a professional, yet relaxed environment and approach to dentistry. He will always listen to your concerns and help you make informed decisions about your dental care.

Outside of Dentistry, he stays busy with his 3 kids and wife, Sara. He enjoys all sports, fitness, and finding unique spots to vacation with the family.
